Poly-L-Milchsäure

What is Poly-L-Lactic Acid?

Poly-L-Lactic Acid counteracts the natural aging process. As we age, our facial skin gradually loses its ability to produce collagen. The volume of the skin decreases, and the elasticity of the elastic fibers is reduced. Poly-L-Lactic Acid stimulates the production of collagen and gives the face a new volume.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid is suitable for these purposes

  • To correct sunken cheeks
  • For injecting wrinkles in the lines and corners of the mouth
  • To increase the volume of large areas of the cheeks
  • For injection into large décolleté wrinkles
  • For treating wrinkles on the upper arms, thighs, and backs of the hands

The lactic acid gel promotes the body's own production of collagen

  • The connective tissue gains new elasticity
  • The skin becomes plumper and firmer
  • The contours of the face are rebuilt

What is done?

Poly-L-Lactic Acid is injected under the skin and massaged in with a very fine needle or blunt cannula. The treatment is usually carried out in two or three sessions spaced about eight weeks apart. The formation of connective tissue is accelerated. The final effect of the volume treatment is achieved after 3 months. It can last up to one and a half years.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid

Poly-L-Lactic Acid is the only product where this biostimulating effect has been scientifically proven and lasts a very long time.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid is a purely synthetic substance and therefore very well tolerated. It is completely broken down by the body, and a part of it permanently replaces the collagen in the body.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid has been used for many years in cases of medically induced facial fat loss, e.g., due to HIV treatment.
