HERMOSA V PDO Threads | Nose Thread PDO Thread with Barbs L-TYP Cannula

Hermosa V PDO Nose Threads are a minimally invasive, delicate procedure to alter the skin of the nose to create smoother skin with an improved nasal bridge. The L-type cannula allows for a more precise procedure. Hermosa V PDO Nose Threads maximize the lifting effect and reduce skin damage.

TREATMENT AREA

  • Nose area
  • Tip of nose
  • Bridge of the nose

PDO threads are a less invasive alternative to surgical rhinoplasty to rejuvenate the nose without the risks and downtime associated with surgery. This suture procedure involves placing very fine sutures in the nose, but overlapping them to create a pyramid shape that supports and alters the skin of the nose. It does not offer the same results as a surgical rhinoplasty, but is a good option for a more subtle rejuvenation.

Hermosa V PDO Nose Threads have a dual function requirement:

  • Lift
  • Regenerate

The lifting effect is immediate and discreet, as it is the result of compression and elevation of the tissue at the time of suture adjustment.

After inserting the suture, the doctor applies light pressure to the treated area. In this way, the doctor reshapes the surface of the skin, making it visibly smoother.

The regenerative effect is gradual and natural: polydioxanone, the main component of PDO threads, is a polymer known in medicine for many years. After the application of the thread, polydioxanone acts in the deeper layers of the skin and helps to increase the volume of sagging areas, gradually and naturally returning the face to its shape.
